Rambling graffiti found daubed across the doorways of Inverness’s courthouse has been reported to police.

Staff and visitors to the Inverness Justice Centre were confronted by screeds of graffiti scrawled across the entranceway on Thursday morning.

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service has confirmed that the vandalism has since been reported to the police and removed.

Phrases featured among the incoherent and misspelt graffiti included: "so which peadiotrition [sic] is looking after your kids if their [sic] sick or get sick" and “armed forces who's looking after the royal familys [sic] kids take a pick [sic]".

A spokesperson for the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service said: "The matter of vandalism at the entry to the Inverness Justice Centre was reported to the police immediately on Thursday morning. The graffiti was removed, having been documented for sharing with the police."
