Fiscal depute Pauline Gair told Sheriff Sara Matheson that he had tensed his body and was kicking out.

Addley admitted resisting arrest and was ordered to be of good behaviour until January 9 next year.

He was also prohibited from drinking alcohol during that period.

Defending, John MacColl told Inverness Sheriff Court: "He had been drinking and did not take kindly to the police being at his home. He has been in custody for the last 30 days and has taken advantage of programmes available to him. Drink has been an issue for him for a number of years."
