Inverness’s Drummond School Parent Council announce plans for glitzy Masquerade Spring Fling Ball in the Highland capital’s Lochardil House Hotel
A fancy masquerade ball will help to raise funds for an Inverness school this spring.
The Drummond School Parent Council has announced plans for its first Masquerade Spring Fling, which will take place in the Lochardil House Hotel in Inverness on May 31.
"Enjoy a spectacular evening featuring a sumptuous three-course meal with table drinks included, a refreshing welcome drink, and live music from Jar," said a spokesperson for the parent council.

"Dance the night away with DJ X, live music from Jar, take party in exciting games, and try your luck with thrilling raffle prizes. Spud the Piper will set the perfect tone for the evening, and a delicious late-night buffet will keep you energised.
"This special event is proudly sponsored by generous local businesses. Get ready for a night filled with elegance, entertainment and celebration, all for a great cause.
"Dust off your finest attire, done you most elegant mask, and join us in supporting the amazing children and families at Drummond School.

The ball will take place from 7pm (for a 7.30pm start) until late on May 31. Tickets are £75 for adults and £30 for children.
There will be a prize for the best mask.
The main sponsors are Enerpro Group, Highland Blind Craft, and Eilean Dubh Care Home. Additional sponsorship has also been provided by FunkyDory Kidz, Morrisons Construction, Pat Munro Foundation, Highland Industrial Supplies, and Spud The Piper.
The school parent council will announce all of its raffle prize sponsors at a later date.
