Funds raised at pre-loved clothing sale will provide 50 free counselling sessions in the Highlands

A pre-loved clothing sale in Inverness has raised over £2800 for a local charity.

The funds will now help to offer more than 50 free counselling sessions to people in the region. The Highland Well-Ness Collective was launched in November 2023, providing mental health counselling for free or more accessible rates for people in need.

Over 200 people turned up to the event which also included a bake stall, holistic treatments and artisan products.

Charity founder, Laura Johnston-Scott said: “It was an extremely successful day and we had some really lovely feedback. So much so we might do one closer to Christmas!”
