Fundraisers were on target when they managed to raise £1700 for Highland Hospice at the Clachnaharry Darts Challenge.

The Young Guns lifted the Clachnaharry challenge trophy with John Bremner hitting the winning double at the Clachnaharry Inn last Saturday.

Organiser Liam MacAskill said: “That makes it 5-1 now to the Young Guns [against the Old Guys at the annual event].

“I must say a huge thanks to main sponsor United Express Deliveries and to the Clachnaharry Inn for hosting the event.

“And well done to Robert MacKenzie and Stevie Polson who won the Des Devine doubles trophy.”

Hospice communications officer Wendy Morgan said: “Thanks so much to everyone who attended and helped raise around £1700. It’s an absolutely fantastic amount.”

During the event, raffle tickets were on sale and prizes included donations from Eden Court Theatre, Speyside Property Services, Dicksons of Inverness, Magnet, Inverness Crazy Golf and the Clachnaharry Inn.
