Council getting serious about attainment in Highland schools?
Dire attainment levels in Highland schools appear to have finally provoked a major change by the council. A raft of new measures have been unveiled in a bid to lift the region’s educational record, it having been languishing since before the pandemic.

If there isn’t going to be an increase in availability at special schools, far more support will be needed in mainstream to provide every student with the full time education they deserve and to reach their full potential, not part time arrangements to fit in with part time support assistant’s shifts.
