‘Fun and free’ activities for the whole family with return of Bella Boffinarium
The Bella Boffinarium returns this year with a stacked three-day schedule of fun and free activities for everyone to enjoy next weekend.
The Boffinarium, presented by Skills Development Scotland, is an opportunity for all of the family to take part in events from Thursday July 25 to Saturday July 27 such as virtual and augmented reality to giant mechano, microart and badge making.

‘Find a job you love and never work a day in your life' with personal career conversations with a qualified careers adviser from Skills Development Scotland. The sessions are open to any age at a time on Thursday, Friday or Saturday between 11am - 6pm.
Enjoy some advice, guidance and information over a friendly coffee in the gazebo by the Boffinarium by booking a slot in advance by emailing live@sds.co.uk, or pop along and sign up when you arrive.
‘My World of Work Live’ returns to Belladrum with several exciting activities for the whole family.
Take part in a Micro:bit Skills Scavenger Hunt, journey through augmented and virtual reality to find new career possibilities, and explore what your future could look like with interactive and practical sessions.
Skills Development Scotland’s My World of Work Live is a programme of fun, practical activities designed by experts to help young people understand possible future careers.
Aimed at pupils in P5 to S6, activities are delivered by experts with a passion for education and learning.
Using exciting technology, the activities help young people identify their skills and strengths, and opens up the world of possible careers that are available in Scotland, now and in the future.
A spokesperson said: “Skills Development Scotland is thrilled to be bringing The Boffanarium to Belladrum this year.
“We have lots of interactive, exciting sessions planned - there will be something for the whole family to join in. You can expect workshops and live demonstrations from our My World of Work Live team, as well as expert careers advisers on hand to chat to festival goers throughout the whole event.

Join the team from Science Skills Academy and explore what life looks like at the micro level using our mini microscopes. Butterflies, bugs, feathers and flowers - what patterns can you spot? Get crafty and draw what you see, take it away and tell your friends.
The Science Skills Academy engage learners from across the Highlands with hands-on STEM (science technology, engineering and maths) activities in their network of science rooms called Newton Rooms. We want to bring STEM careers to life and encourage people of all ages to explore the world around them.
The UHI STEM Outreach Team will also be offering a range of STEM engagement activities designed to support early years and primary school learners.
Team members will be available in the Boffinarium during the Tartan Heart Festival providing a range of fun and entertaining engagement activities inspiring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), such as badge making and Mechano building.
The Glasgow Science Centre — one of Scotland’s must-see visitor attractions — comes to the Boffinariaum to brilliantly encapsulate the world of science and technology in new, fun, and exciting ways.
Explore interactive hands-on exhibits and our energy options – from how we can produce electricity and fuels to how we can be smarter with our use of energy.
The TechFest Team, an Aberdeen-based charity, will be on hand to help you delve into the fascinating world of Forces of Nature, offering the chance to engage with their Wonderful Wind activity to design a wind turbine or embark on a Plant Munch journey to uncover the global origins of our food.
