A hundred Highland business owners and their guests will get to see Caley Thistle play Ayr United on Small Business Saturday for free, thanks to a new partnership between the club and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

The Inverness club recently joined the small business campaign group, and to celebrate the deal it is giving 100 pairs of tickets free to FSB members for this Saturday.

Caley Thistle chief executive Scot Gardiner said: “Since I arrived in the spring I have been really keen to re-engage with local businesses, and FSB membership provides us with a great mechanism for doing so. I have been very impressed by what I’ve seen of the FSB, both locally and nationally, and I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

FSB Highlands and Islands development manager David Richardson said: “We have long felt that football clubs can benefit enormously from membership of the FSB. There are many ways in which local businesses can also reap the rewards from this relationship, and we are very much looking forward to working with Scot and his team. Obviously, the very generous offer of free tickets to the Ayr game is very welcome.”
