Four schools in the Highlands closed or partially closed for various reasons including severe road conditions

Three secondary schools and one nursery in the Highlands are closed or partially closed today for various reasons.

Charleston Academy in Inverness is partially closed due to "public health measures".

The 777-pupil school is open to S1-S3 pupils.

Severe road conditions have meant the closure of Kingussie High School and Grantown Grammar School.

Unforeseen circumstance have resulted in the nursery at Kilmuir Primary on Skye being closed.

Yesterday, 10 schools across Highland did not open or only partially opened due to a variety of reasons.
