Four people to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in connection with 'attempted murder' in Beauly

Police said the charges arise out of an incident at a Beauly property.

The incident happened at around 5.20am on Sunday, May 12 in the town's Orchard Park.

A man and a woman suffered serious injuries, with the man's injuries considered life threatening.

Four men – aged 50, 48, 24 and 18 – are expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.

Detective Inspector Eddie Ross said: "This was a contained incident and our enquiries continue. I would like to thank members of the local community for their continued assistance with our enquiries."
