Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews attend fire in Dalneigh area of Inverness





Firefighters were called after reports of a house fire in Inverness on Tuesday evening (September 16).

Three appliances from Inverness attended the property at the city’s Rowan Road in Dalneigh after the alarm was raised at 7:42 pm.

The crews were able to leave the house by 8:28 pm.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman, confirming the incident, said a hose reel jet and main jet were used at the scene but was unable to give any further details.

It is not known if anyone was injured in the incident.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted.
