Film fans have named Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as the most anticipated comedy film of 2023.
Set to be released in May, it stars Inverness-born Karen Gillan as Nebula in the Marvel cinematic universe.
A nationwide survey, carried out by Showcase Cinemas to mark so-called Blue Monday, investigated the UK's favourite comedy films and actors.
It discovered Robin Williams is the UK's number one comic actor of all time while Jennifer Saunders is the nation's favourite comedic actress
It also revealed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the film which fans are most looking forward to in 2023.
A Showcase Cinemas spokesperson said: "Blue Monday is known as one of the most depressing days of the year due to the gloomy whether and the post-Christmas slump, so we wanted to do some research into which films cheer people up.
"Our survey revealed watching a funny film is one of the top things Brits like to do when feeling down, so we’re delighted to be able to play a part in turning people’s frowns upside down.
"There are so many great movies coming up throughout 2023, but our survey discovered the one the UK is most looking forward to is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which lands on the big screen in May."
