RETAIL space at a Drumnadrochit farm could be converted into three holiday lets under plans submitted to Highland Council.

Owner Mike Fraser wants to convert the existing retail/commercial space at Unit 2 in Drum Farm Courtyard into the self-contained holiday accommodation.

If approved the single storey building, which is part of a wing of a much larger farm building, would be extended on one side to accommodate the space necessary for the extension.

Under the proposals the three self-contained lets would each be accessed by their own dedicated entrances within the farm courtyard.

They would each feature a bedroom/living area within the existing footprint of the building, as well as kitchen, bathroom and walk-in cupboard in the new extension space to the rear.

The farm's existing parking spaces, which number close to 30, mean that no new parking will be required for the units.
