Inverness Farmers’ Market, held on the first Saturday of every month, will not take place on October 4 with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for rain later this week.

A statement by organisers said: “Due to the forecast storm and rain for Saturday 4th, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the market.

“We'll be back on Saturday 1st November. Look forward to seeing you then.”
