PICTURES: A wedding fair drew in crowds at the weekend as those planning their big day were eager to see the full range of options available

The Macdonald Drumossie Hotel in Inverness played host to the event on Sunday, giving 16 different local exhibitors the chance to showcase their wares, many offering special discounts.

Guests enjoyed browsing the stalls that, as well as wedding dresses, also included those specialising in scene setting, along with musicians and hair and make-up artists.

There were also two fashion shows staged during the day in which bridal gowns were provided by Charlotte Smith Bridal while La-Di-Da Fashion showed off a range of outfits designed to appeal to the discerning wedding guest.

The models’ hair and make-up for the catwalk shows was done by Your Day Styling.

Visitors cheered and clapped for the different outfits with a variety of different styles showcased to appeal to as many different tastes as possible.

The shows were narrated and accompanied by music from Highland Castle Entertainment.
