There is to be an extension to the closure of the B862 Fort Augustus - Torness - Dores - Inverness road.

The extension will be in operation from today until tomorrow and will only apply between 9am and 3.30pm.

The reason for the extension is to allow contractors working on behalf of Highland Council to carry out essential resurfacing works.

It will begin approximately 580m south west of its junction with the U1092 Wester Aberchalder Road heading south westerly for around 500m.
