Highland emergency services were called to the scene of a 2-vehicle crash on the A82 south of Inverness at Dochgarroch, near Loch Ness
Emergency services are on the scene after a two-vehicle crash on the A82 at Dochgarroch.
The crash has partially blocked the busy trunk road, with live traffic maps showing lengthy tailbacks of slow moving vehicles.
Traffic Scotland has warned motorists to "use caution on approach and expect delays".
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent two appliances to the scene at 12.32pm after being requested to attend by police.
They confirmed that two vehicles were involved, but had no further information at the time of writing.
It is not known if anyone was injured.
Police and the ambulance service have been approached for comment.
Meanwhile, Scottish Citylink has warned passengers on its Fort William to Inverness services to expect delays due to the crash.
“We are sorry to say due to a road traffic accident on the A82 at Dochgarroch, all services from Inverness southbound and Fort William northbound are experiencing delays,” a spokesperson said.
