Emergency services called to house fire in Nairn

Emergency services were called to a house fire in Nairn last night, Wednesday March 3.

Four fire appliances and the police were on scene at the family home on Albert Street at 10.42pm.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a house fire in Albert Street in Nairn at 10.42pm and we left the scene at 12.02am.

"Four fire appliances were on the scene, with pumps used from Nairn and Forres. Six of the fire crew used breathing apparatus and they used one jet hose and two house reel jets."
