Eleven new registered coronavirus cases in NHS Highland area

There have been 11 additional confirmed coronavirus cases in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours, new figures have shown.

The new cases increase the tally for the area since the start of the pandemic to 867.

Some 1167 people have tested positive across Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 46,399.

And there have been 15 more reported deaths of people who had tested positive.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had 38 new recorded cases in the past day, taking its tally to 2927.
