AN OVERNIGHT road closure will be in place on the A833 between Milton and the A862 this weekend, Highland Council has warned.

The road, which links the A831 Cannich-Drumnadrochit road to the A862 Beauly-Inverness route, is closing to most traffic on Saturday night while electricity transformers are moved.

The abnormal load means the road will be shut from 8pm on Saturday until 9am on Sunday.

But Highland Council has advised that access will be maintained "at all times" for local traffic as well as pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
