POLICE in Nairn are appealing for witnesses after election material was vandalised.

Officers said a large banner was cut in half on the A96 at Delnies Wood.

The incident happened sometime overnight from April 26 into 27.

Anyone with any information should call 101 quoting reference number 1304 of April 27.
