Inverness theatre Eden Court says it will clarify later today the situation on its live shows and cinema screenings.

On social media and its website, it has said: "Following new Covid restrictions being introduced by the Scottish Government from 26 December, Eden Court is in the process of reviewing our live events and cinema screenings. Affected ticket holders will be contacted in due course. Thank you for your patience."

When contacted, staff confirmed a lot of discussions had been taking place about what the theatre's next steps would be following First Minister Nicola Sturgeon's statement yesterday afternoon.
