Eat Out To Help Out: Places in the Inverness area taking part

THE UK government's Eat Out To Help Out scheme is now up and running.

Many places in Inverness and the Highlands are taking part in the scheme, which will see customers get 50 per cent off food and drink, up to a total of £10 per person, on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Monday was the first day customers could take advantage of the offer, which will run throughout August.

You do not need a voucher to use the scheme and you can use it at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend.

Alcoholic drinks and service charges are excluded from the offer.
