Double awards glory for Highland housing group

HIGHLAND housing group Albyn was a double winner at the Herald Property Awards in Glasgow.
Two subsidiaries of Albyn Group – Highland Residential and Albyn Housing Society – were recognised for their commitment to delivering affordable housing.
Highland Residential (Inverness) was crowned residential lettings team of the year, while Albyn Housing Society won affordable housing development of the year for its development at Drovers Square in Ardgay.
Lisa Buchanan, group chief executive, said: “The double award win is testament to the whole team’s hard work and continuous drive for improvement that is evident across the whole group.
“Highland Residential works tirelessly to lease and sell quality homes to Highland residents using a range of innovative affordable models, while Albyn Housing Society continues to deliver aspirational, high-quality developments for social rent across the region, including in small rural communities like Ardgay.”
The Highland Residential team is also a finalist for three titles at The Negotiator magazine awards. It is in the running for best agency in Scotland, UK single branch estate agency of the year and UK single branch lettings agency of the year. The winners will be announced on November 29.
