An Inverness hotel doorman who is being cared for by staff at Highland Hospice has inspired his friends and co-workers to raise more than £1,800 for the charity.
Charlie Murray, who began working at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel in 1995, and the rest of his colleagues have managed to raise an amazing £1,854 – which includes more than £400 donated for the hospice's 555 Challenge.
A hospice spokeswoman said: "You can take part too by running 5km, donating £5, and nominating five friends to do the same."
