A business is looking forward to opening up the 'first cosmetic surgery clinic' in Inverness.

The Alpha Clinic – with a base already in Aberdeen – has had plans for the unit on Drummond Street for the last two years. It is set to open later on in the year.

It offers a host of different advanced cosmetic and reconstructive body and face treatments.

Leah Athanssopolous, group director for Alpha Hospital Group said: “We are delighted to be working towards the opening of Inverness’ first cosmetic surgery clinic - which if all goes well should be later this year.

"We have had plans for the property in Drummond Street for over two years now and our aim is to offer clients who ordinarily would have had to travel long distance for treatments a service on their doorstep.

"We plan to offer non-surgical procedures, such as anti-wrinkle treatments and fillers, as well as provides surgical consultations and after-care services for patients who have undergone surgery such as breast augmentations or reductions at our Aberdeen clinic where we have state-of-the-art operating theatres.

"We very much look forward to being part of the Inverness local business community, creating around four or five new jobs and building a solid client base in the area.”
