Dingwall’s Illuminated Christmas tractor run is set to return
Dingwall’s charity tractor run, which tours multiple Ross-shire towns and villages, is set to return later this month.
The Illuminated Christmas Charity Tractor Run, which is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Inverness Riverside and Dingwall alongside the InverRoss Young Farmers, raised £5000 for charity at last year’s event which saw a huge turnout.
This year the event is set to take place on December 28, with the first leg of the tractor run leaving Dingwall Mart at 5pm for a loop round by Strathpeffer, Jamestown and Contin before returning to Dingwall Mart. The second leg of the tractor run will leave at 7pm via Dingwall High Street, through Maryburgh, Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord and Beauly before finishing at the Black Isle Showground at 7.45pm.
Anyone looking to admire the illuminated tractors are welcome to visit the Dingwall Mart from 5.30—7.30pm, and to visit the Black Isle Showground from 8—9pm.
There will also be bucket collections and QR codes along the route, to raise funds for Farmstrong, Young Lives v Cancer and towards locally supported charities through the rotary clubs.
