Del Amitri set to perform at Inverness Leisure Centre this December
Del Amitri have added an Inverness show to their sold out Scottish tour this December.
The band will perform at Inverness Leisure Centre on Tuesday, December 17 with tickets on sale this Friday at 10am.
Lead singer Justin Currie said: “Having spent the last 12 months in the comforting embrace of opening slots with Canada’s Barenaked Ladies and this Spring with the mighty Simple Minds, we’re pleased to announce our first run of UK headline shows since 2021.
“We are now in pre-season training, dealing with the shock of performing for twice as long, but relishing the chance to stroll around our catalogue in a more leisurely fashion.”
Caroline Campbell Director of Ironworks Venue commented: ‘We are delighted to be bringing Del Amitri back to Inverness and continuing the Ironworks relationship with one of Scotland’s greatest bands who last took to the Ironworks stage on Academy Street back in 2021.”
Formed in Glasgow in 1983, during their distinguished career Del Amitri released four Top 10 albums and a string of memorable hit singles.
