POLICE who raided an Inverness property found a man hiding in the bathroom with more than £4000 of cocaine and heroin.

Kevin Woodward (21) admitted being concerned in the supply of the drugs on May 2, 2019 in an address in Johnston Place. A 19-year old co-accused, Kelvin Franklin, admitted possessing two wraps of cocaine and two of heroin in the same property on the same date.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard Franklin, described as a Liverpool prisoner, arrived at the property as police were about to search it and was arrested. Woodward, from Merseyside, was found with various wraps of the Class A drugs, in recognised deal amounts.

Franklin was fined £600 but as a prisoner had additional time added to his current sentence instead.

Sheriff Sara Matheson deferred sentence on Woodward until March 15.
