A DAZZLING show of shimmering lights brought spectacular colour to the city’s Whin Park.

Organisers of the Winter Wonderland said the much-loved annual event brought in record numbers of revellers as the park’s boating pond, woodlands and lawns played host to numerous funfair rides and attractions.

Inverness events manager Gerry Reynolds said: “It was an absolute pleasure to see so many families and friends take in this free event, which is now such a well-established date on our beautiful city’s calendar.

“We were packed out with happy, smiling faces.”
