CRIME: Police in Inverness are appealing for information after an abandoned car was set on fire on Stevenson Road

Police in Inverness are appealing for information about an abandoned car on Stevenson Road.

The car, police describe as having "sustained fire damage", is a Black Vaxhall Zafira

A police spokesman said: "During the evening of Saturday October 2 2021, a Black Vauxhall Zafira was abandoned on Stevenson Road in Inverness.

"On inspection, the vehicle was observed to have sustained fire damage."

He continued: "Anyone with any information regarding this please contact 101 and quote reference number 20211002-3011 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Earlier this week, a luxury vehicle was set alight at the Clava Cairns beauty spot.
