Inverness Chamber of Commerce is now advertising to fill its chief executive role.

This comes following the announcement that the current chief executive, Stewart Nicol, will step down from his post in May 2023. He has been in the role for nearly 15 years.

This key position reports to the president and board of Inverness Chamber of Commerce and the person is responsible for representing the organisation and its members externally and setting out and ensuring operational delivery of the organisational strategy.

The advertisement states: "The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, honed within a busy and dynamic business environment.

"The post is a key part of our hard-working and highly effective team."
