Motorist took cocaine the night before he was stopped by police on Kessock Bridge

A motorist took cocaine the night before he was stopped by police [stopped on the Kessock Bridge, Inverness] at 8.30pm the following evening.

But the Class A drug was still in 35 year old David Allan's [Canal Terrace, Inverness] system on June 29, 2020 and he showed a reading slightly above the 50mcgs safe limit. Analysis returned 59mcgs of a cocaine metabolyte.

He was fined £520 and banned from driving for a year.
