CLACHNACUDDIN FC are looking for some artistry to grace Grant Street Park.

But the club’s plea is not for new players – it wants a young fan to design a new club flag.

The Lilywhites, who returned to their fire-ravaged ground last month before the Coronavirus shutdown, launched the kids’ colouring competition in the hope of helping keep young minds occupied.

A club spokesman said: “One of the best sights on a Saturday is heading down to Grant Street and seeing the club flag flying.

“We would love our junior supporters to design a flag to fly on match-days for us.”

The club’s Facebook page has a printable template (pictured) on which to base the design, with youngsters encouraged to post their efforts there.

The winning entrant will have the honour of seeing their flag design flying high at the Merkinch ground whenever senior football returns.
