NHS workers passing a hotel in Inverness are to be left in no doubt about the feelings workers have for staff pulling out all the stops for caring for people suffering from Covid-19 coronavirus.

Jury's Inn, the former Thistle Hotel, which many workers pass on their way into Raigmore Hospital have been met with a home-made banner with the letters NHS an rainbow and a heart motif.

The Jury's Inn is on Milburn Road near to the junction with the A9, on one of the main routes into Raigmore Hospital.

Banners made from bedsheets have appeared hanging from the Jurys Inn in Inverness, as a message of support for NHS staff.

Staff at the hotel in Millburn Road said it was the least they could do to show their appreciation for the many health workers passing the premises to and from Raigmore Hospital daily.

Inverness South councillor Duncan Macpherson, who drew attention to the sign online, said: "Good on Jurys Inn for making a banner to show that NHS staff are very much in everyone's minds at this time."
