A city centre road will be closed for part of December for customer queuing and social distancing arrangements.

Highland Council wants to alert the public that Hamilton Street will be closed during the build up to Christmas.

The temporary closure will be in operation between:

  • 8am and 8pm from December 13-19.
  • 7am and 10pm from December 20-23.
  • 7am and 6pm on December 24.

A council spokesman said: "Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained, and an alternative route will be available for vehicular traffic."
