Staff at an IT company have raised £530 for a children’s charity by holding a Euro 2020 sweepstake.

Dynamic Edge, which has an office in Fairways Business Park in Inverness, organised the fundraiser for the Archie Foundation which aims to make a difference to sick children and their families and also supports the Highland Children’s Unit at Raigmore Hospital.

Stephen Laurie, of Dynamic Edge, handed over the donation to Dawn Cowie, regional fundraiser for the foundation.

"We were absolutely delighted to receive support from Dynamic Edge with their Euro 2020 sweepstake, we are really grateful to have them as fantastic ongoing supporters of the Archie Foundation," she said.

"A few of the team are currently planning a fundraising challenge for September too."

The Archie Foundation came to the Highlands in March 2011 when it linked up with the Inverness Courier to raise funds to refurbish the children’s ward.

As well as delivering a more ambitious project with the opening of the children’s unit in 2016, thanks to massive public support, it has provided an outdoor space and a support network for children who are in hospital.
