Celebrating Amy was set up in 2022 after the passing of Amy Tuach (39) from Muir of Ord. On February 24, it will be the third year anniversary of Amy’s passing, prompting the team to keep her legacy alive by hosting another incredible event in her memory.

Since the inception of Celebrating Amy, the team has raised more than £60,000 for numerous local charities including Highland Hospice, Mikeysline, Cash for Kids, Step Up for Sam and Dream, Believe, Achieve.

Amy’s daughter Chloe, who is part of the team, was crowned Fundraiser of the Year at our Highland Heroes event in 2023.

Organiser Gary Tuach, who was married to Amy, said: “After last year’s successful event, we decided to return with Highlands Got Talent, which will be a fun-filled variety show and we are on the lookout for all kinds of incredible talent - are you a magician, cabaret act, dance group, vocal choir, fabulous singer, comedian or maybe you have a special pet that can put on a show?

“Whatever your talent is, we would be delighted to hear from you. I am hopeful this event will catch people’s imaginations and I would love the support of local companies and businesses who would like to get involved in corporate sponsorship or coming along to the night by purchasing tables and tickets for the event, we are also on the call out for auction prizes for the event and would be delighted to receive these.

“These events don’t run without the generous support of local people, and we are always very grateful for the support we receive.

“If you or someone you know has a special talent that deserves to be seen, this is the competition for you! You’ll be fully supported throughout your journey from a team of experts who will assist in polishing those performances ready for the live final.

“Please contact the Celebrating Amy team for further information on how to apply. It promises to be an incredible evening in memory of a very special lady.”
