SIX Inverness students have been selected for a summer leadership programme.

They will take part in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) programme at Nethybridge, enjoying a range of challenges aimed at bringing out their leadership potential.

David Henderson, past president of the Rotary Club Inverness, said: “I think this is one of the most valuable projects that Rotary runs: you see the participants developing their own mind and start considering things that they wouldn’t have thought of before.”

The Inverness participants are Caitlin Mackenzie and Aileen Brechin (IRA); Liam Laird and Alistair Fraser (Millburn Academy) and Adam Koscielny and Jhonny Reis-celli (Culloden Academy).
