ORGANISERS behind Nairn’s Christmas extravaganza have received three cash donations to help tomorrow’s event.

The Association of Nairn Businesses has donated £1000, Nairn Rotary Club has given £500, and £1000 came from Highland Council’s Nairn and Cawdor ward discretionary fund.

The 12 Hours of Christmas, which kicks off at 10am in the community centre with a craft fair organised by 1st Nairn Scout Group, will be mainly in the High Street.

It will feature a street market, entertainers, horse and carriage rides, the lights switch-on and a one-hour street party, with The Fragz performing.

The event will finish with a ceilidh back at the community centre.
