Fraser Elite Ltd, scored five or “very good” in all categories of care using a system where top is six or “excellent”.

The service, based at Culloden, has around 50 clients in the area.

It also operates a sister service, Fraser Home Care, which provides home care commissioned by the NHS.

The inspectorate had feedback from five people whose relatives use the Elite service.

The report said: “People we spoke to were very satisfied with the quality of the service.

“Staff were described in positive terms, and people told us that they felt confident that they had the necessary skills to support their relative.

“One person described how the compatibility of their staff was key to the positive experience of their loved one. Family members described experiencing empathy and understanding from leaders in the service.”

Support for people’s wellbeing, the service’s leadership, plus care and support during the pandemic were all rated very good.

The report added: “People experienced a highly personalised and responsive service.

“Staff worked in a person-centred way, with support visits being scheduled in accordance with the needs and wishes of people using the service.

“Staff had time to get to know the person, their preferences, and what they wanted from the service. People we spoke with told us about the difference this made to them.

“Relatives felt reassured in the skills demonstrated by staff. This service demonstrated strengths in how they supported people to get the most out of life.

“People’s health and wellbeing benefited from their care and support. People could be reassured that Fraser Elite works hard to keep them safe. We saw this reflected in records we looked at such as care plans, medication management and accident and incidents.

“We were satisfied that staff reacted in the right way to safety or health concerns identified during their visits.”
