As the 'cluster' numbers grow in the Strathspey capital, a popular care home in Grantown posted this morning that one of its staff members had tested positive to Covid-19.

Run by the Eavis family, Grandview Care Home in the High Street took the opportunity to update the community on its Facebook page.

"At this stage this is the only confirmed case," wrote Libby Eavis.

"We are working closely with public health and we will update our Facebook page, if it is appropriate to do so in due course.

"Myself, Tom and Dinah would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff at Grandview for their continued dedication, unwavering support for all of our residents and complete professionalism at what can only be described as a very difficult and emotional time.

"If anyone has any direct concerns linking to Grandview. Please contact Libby on 07718268014 or Tom on 077590994861

"We would ask anyone who does not have a relative in Grandview to avoid contacting our landline so we can keep the lines clear. Take care and stay safe Libby x"
