Inverness Caledonian Thistle add another £1700, with just four days left to reach GoFundMe crowdfunding total of £200,000 to avoid administration

Just four days remain for Inverness Caledonian Thistle to raise the £200,000 needed to stave off administration on Wednesday - but crowdfunding continues to slow down.

The club's GoFundMe page stood at £78,540 on Saturday afternoon - just over £1700 higher than almost 24 hours earlier.

The total raised each day also appears to have slowed in recent days, with slightly less than £2300 raised in the 24 hours up to yesterday afternoon, and around £3000 in the 24 hours before that.

It is still more than £121,000 shy of the total required. If it is unable to raise £200,000 by Wednesday, October 16, the club says it will be forced to become insolvent and go into administration.

The club say it is also looking to raise between £1.4 and £1.6 million to ensure it is able to continue until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

If administration is implemented, Inverness Caledonian Thistle would be deducted 15 points from its current total of nine points leaving it on -4.

They would be 10 points behind Dumbarton who are in ninth place in the table.

The club’s financial consultant Alan Savage says there are interested parties in Denmark, United Arab Emirates and the United States who are considering making a bid for the club. However, there has been no update since Monday, but meetings are believed to be taking place this week.
