Bryan Adams will now be performing two concerts at Eden Court on the same day in April.

Fans of rock music legend Bryan Adams will be on Cloud No. 9 after a second Inverness gig was added to his tour.

The news was announced by Eden Court Theatre at lunchtime on Thursday and comes after his first upcoming gig at the Inverness venue sold out in double-quick time - crashing its website and leaving scores of fans disappointed.

However, they will now get a second chance to see the Canadian star behind such hits as Run to You, Summer of ‘69 and Everything I Do (I Do It For You),

For the phenomenal demand for the first show has sparked the announcement of an earlier matinee concert, which has been added for the same date.

It means Bryan Adams will also be performing a show in Eden Court’s Empire Theatre at 4pm on Friday, April 25 on top of his already sold-out show at 7.30pm on the same date.

Confirming the news, Eden Court warned fans that tickets are expected to sell quickly.

A spokesperson said: “Based on previous demand, we expect this event to sell out in less than an hour. Here’s everything you need to know to have the best chance of getting a ticket!”

The tickets will go on sale on midday next Thursday, March 13.

People will be able to buy up to four tickets and, unlike with the first date there will be no priority booking for Friends of Eden Court members.

Tickets will be available to buy on Eden Court’s website, via its usual phone number or in person at the box office.

Bryan Adams has been touring the world for nearly four decades. His music has achieved number one status in over 40 countries and he is the recipient of numerous awards - including a Grammy, American Music Awards and three Academy Award, five Golden Globe nominations and he is a Companion of the Order of Canada.

In 2018 he ventured into the world of musical theatre, co-writing the songs for ‘Pretty Woman: The Musical’ and released his 16th studio album, ‘So Happy It Hurts’ in 2022.

He also followed Taylor Swift in re-recording some of his biggest songs with a double album of “Classics” in 2023, and has released a three album box set from his residency at The Royal Albert Hall shortly afterwards.

In August 2024, Bryan launched Bad Records, his own independent label, with a limited edition 7”, digital single and video of two songs “Rock And Roll Hell” and "War Machine”
