THE Ness Bridge will be lit navy blue to help mark the 25th anniversary of Headway Highland.

The charity that supports adults with an acquired brain injury and their families/carers and the bridge lighting on Thursday to Saturday coincides with national brain injury awareness week.

Representatives of the charity will also be on hand at Eastgate Shopping Centre on Friday to speak to people about its work.

Headway Highland has support groups throughout the region including regular meeting in Inshes Church in Inverness.

Manager Lee Gordon said: "The support group is a social group where people can come along to a relaxing and friendly place to have fun and meet others in a similar situation."
