Bridge Street set to reopen late tonight after sinkhole saga

Bridge Street will re-open after 10pm tonight, Scottish Water has confirmed.

Specialist contractors have been busy repairing sections of Bridge Street near Inverness Town House, with High Street and Castle Street also closed to traffic.

The reinstatement of the carriageway on Bridge Street in Inverness has been completed and the traffic management will be removed at 10pm tonight.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “This has been a complex and challenging repair, and we are grateful for everyone’s patience while we carried out.”
