POLICE are looking for information following a Black Isle accident which caused damage to a bridge near a popular visitor attraction.

The incident happened close to the Fairy Glen car park in Rosemarkie earlier this week, police said in a statement issued today.

A bridge was damaged on the A832 at Bridge Street after a vehicle – believed to be a white Citroen Berlingo - struck its parapet and a roadside barrier.

The incident resulted in damage to both structures and, say police, "the vehicle would also have sustained substantial damage".

The incident happened between 2pm on Monday and 2pm on Tuesday.

Anyone with information can contact the road policing unit at Dingwall by calling 101 and quoting incident 1949.
