BREAKING: Man stabbed to death in Inverness last night

ONE man was killed and several other people were injured when a knifeman burst into an Inverness flat and ran amok.

Details of the drama, which unfolded in Balloan Road at around 11pm yesterday, are still sketchy.

But an eyewitness told the Courier that a man, in his 30s, was killed and a number of other people stabbed.

It is understood that a woman was also stabbed and three others injured. Their conditions are still not known.

Police haven't yet released details of the incident but more than 10 police cars attended the scene.
