Man in hospital after accident on Carsegate Road North Inverness industrial estate premises sub-let by M&H Carriers

A man is in hospital in Inverness after a workplace accident believed to have involved a forklift truck.

It is understood the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

The accident happened in the early hours of this morning at a sub-let area of premises operated by delivery firm M & H Carriers of 4-6 Carsegate Road North, Inverness.

The incident has been reported to The Health and Safety Executive, the government agency responsible for health, safety and well-being in the workplace.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 2.45am on Friday, 6 September, 2024, police received a report a man has been injured at a premises in Carsegate Road, North, Inverness.

“Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital.

“The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 02:43 to attend an incident on Carsegate Road North, Inverness. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Raigmore Hospital.”
