Man (29) arrested in connection with assault in Nairn

A man has been arrested in connection with the assault of a man and a woman in Nairn town centre yesterday evening.
Police Scotland confirmed that they arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with the assault at Court House Lane in Nairn around 6.50pm on Tuesday (June 18).
A spokesperson said that enquiries are ongoing.
The area around Court House Lane and Falconers Lane was cordoned off last night, but it has now been reopened.
